Abstract

COP30, hosted by Brazil in 2025, will mark the tenth anniversary of the Paris Agreement and the first full review of its mechanisms. Despite progress, implementation gaps persist, particularly in finance, technology transfer, and adaptation, in a context of growing geopolitical fragmentation. COP30 presents an opportunity to restore trust, enhance ambition, and align global efforts to accelerate decarbonization and resilience in the coming decade.
