Abstract

The text approaches the environmental-climatic crisis from the perspective of the international debate and the current challenges for Brazilian policy, with special attention to the Amazon and the recent losses in its conservation. In addition, the text also discusses the challenges to local and international forms of climate governance, in a global political context that favors multilateralism.
